Crochet: Pancake Day potholder

Lettukestit (aka Pancake Day) crochet potholder

Yet another potholder from the crochet book “Patalappuja á la Carte” (note: the book is written in Finnish) by Jaana Vehkasalo. This time I tried the Lettukestit (translated as “Pancake Day”).

The main part of the potholder used up just over 1 ball of Moda Vera Pure Wool 8 ply 50g/80m when I crocheted with a 3.5mm hook. The edge took a long time and it was fiddly because I had to keep swapping between the red and the brown to yarn to twist it. In the end, it turned out to be a nice, thick, waffle-like potholder.
