I have a big stash of small fabric pieces that I’ve generated and that my mum has kindly donated to me from her sewing projects and I decided that it’s time to reduce the stash and put the pieces to use. My old pincushion was looking a bit tired and worn so I got enthusiastic when I found the Crocheted African Flower Pincushion Tutorial from Cherry Heart.
I wanted to use up some scraps of wool so I didn’t put much thought in to the colour choice. While my finished pincushion doesn’t resemble a standard flower, I think it’s turned out quite pretty. Continue reading
