I had the opportunity to do my first test knit for a designer a few weeks ago and the pattern has now been released on Ravelry. It’s called Wintercloud by Suvi Simola. 

This shawl is a combination of garter and lace sections. It was a fun knit, where I found that after a few rows of each section I was able to knit the pattern from memory.

The pattern provides photo instructions for the lace section so someone who is comfortable with their knits and purls and looking for a new challenge could tackle this as their first lace project.
